1. Terms of Service

These terms apply to all users of ai.NewsCanvasly (the "Site"). By using the Site you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

1.1 Purpose and nature of the service

The Site is an information aggregation service that collects publicly available AI / TECH news articles from multiple official, academic, specialty media, and community sources and visualizes them across the three axes of category × time × keywords.

• Each displayed article consists of the title and excerpt (quotation) from the original source plus an original summary generated by the Site.
• The Site does not republish full article bodies.
• Every article includes a link back to the original source — please consult the source for full details.

1.2 Copyright

• Copyright in each article's title and excerpt belongs to the original source and its author. The Site uses these under the requirements of fair quotation (attribution, principal-subordinate relationship, necessary scope, no alteration).
• Summaries (one-line / medium) generated by the Site are original content of the Site and copyright is retained by the Site.
• Analytical data and visualizations such as category assignment, keyword aggregation, and spike detection belong to the Site.

1.3 Prohibited actions

Users must not engage in the following:

• Redistributing, republishing, or selling the Site's information without checking the original source.
• Automated access (scraping, bot-based mass requests, etc.) or any action that places undue load on the Site.
• Actions that damage the Site's structure or security (vulnerability probing, tampering, reverse engineering, etc.).
• Altering the content of the Site or spreading false information.
• Any other action that violates laws or public order and morals.

1.4 Disclaimer

• The Site does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information shown. Article summaries are original to the Site and may not perfectly match the source content.
• The Site bears no responsibility for damages arising from use or inability to use the Site.
• Immediate response to broken links or removed source articles is not guaranteed.
• Temporary suspensions (maintenance, outages, etc.) may occur without prior notice.

1.5 Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as needed. Revisions take effect from the time they are posted on this page.

1.6 Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes related to the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's place of residence as the court of first instance.

2. Privacy Policy

The Site respects user privacy and operates in accordance with the policy below.

2.1 Information collected

The Site has no user registration. Only the following information is collected automatically:

• Access logs: IP address, User-Agent, access date/time, referrer URL, page visited.
• Cookies / localStorage: information used to improve the user experience, such as language preference (ja/en).
• Access analytics: anonymized aggregate values such as page views and dwell time.

2.2 Purposes of use
